now i understand why they went out of business. I run with a set of volks, yea boston roads are horribleee but ive hit much harder bumps and holes and came out untouched. The water duct he ran over was very very minor, its like a long sewer drain with a steel grate that dips down about an inch in the tunnel but its not that bad. I go through that same tunnel and drive over the water duct twice a day with no problems. He had the wheels on for 2 week! Brand new tires, mounted at a professional shop...alignment, correct tire pressure. **** sevas!

Sevas S-22. Those are one of the Sevas wheels prone to cracking.

drsifu1 06-03-2009 01:02 AM

it's almost hilarious at this point why anyone would still be driving with wheels made from this company.

i'm glad there were no injuries.

not surprising at all

sfgr415 06-03-2009 01:24 AM

scary. however, it is definitely a known issue, yet people refuse to listen.

ShanesG 06-03-2009 01:29 AM

Shiit, i'd be scared if seva made an air freshner haha

Skaterbasist 06-03-2009 01:40 AM

I probably have a tad more respect for Rotas than Sevas these days :NOOO:

There's a reason why Sevas is no longer in business.
