Pat, car looks amazing as always.
Thanks man. I'll be back in December between Christmas and New Years. We'll definitely set something up. I'll probably start another thread in the NorCal section.Originally Posted by andrewyfang

Marcus I assume you used a neutral density filter for the rig shots... where did you get it from and how strong is it? Do you use it in combination with your circular polarizer filter, and if so, is there any vignetting?
Pat, sick car. I only wish your front CF diffuser was straight and not curvy.
Thanks Kev. Appreciate the advice on the shooting location.Originally Posted by xx7sephiroth7xx

I did use a nuetral density filter for the rig shots. Its a Hoya ND400x HMC ND Filter. I got it locally at Samys, you can buy it online here too for $160. Its a 9 stop filter, the darkest Hoya makes. Its almost too dark. I used a 3 second exposure and wanted to stop down on the lens more but the filter was so dark I had to open it up to f/5.6. I wasn't willing to adjust the ISO or shutter speed so I stayed at f/5.6.
I did not stack a CPL on top of the ND filter, you'll get vignetting at ~13mm and wider. IIRC the rig shots were shot at 12mm-14mm.

sick G, I would remove the splitter though, looks pretty bad all bent up like that, takes away from a truly outstanding looking car
unless is a bendable wing like those in the RBR RB6
