this is a little easier
To reset the light simply turn the iginition to the on position, (you dont need to start it). All the lights should stay on for thier diagnostic check. As soon as the airbag light goes off, before it starts flashing, immeditatly turn the car off. Repeat this 3 or 4 times (turning to on then off) and the light should go away

I've been trying to do this for the last 3 days from other thread. Let me give this a try. I think this makes more sense. Thanks.

First I wanted to thank you guys. Well, my airbag started blinking yesterday for no apparent reason, so I tried this procedure this morning and the light didn't go away but started blinking slower like every 5 seconds. So after lunch I did what SFLg35 said and the light is off. Now what do I say to Infiniti? If there is some malfunction I want them to fix it. Is everything ok with Airbags or did I just kill the light?

Just did it, worked like a charm. Thanks G35Man and Dan.

my light went on and i went to the dealer and the gave me a brand new drivers side airbag. said airbag has a warranty under 70,000. i was sceptical because i have never dealt with infiniti dealer before. thanks though i was looking for this fix for awhile.

I have an 04 G35x and today I replaced the cabin air filter, Well like an idiot I did not disconnect the battery. After I finished I drove down to get the car washed and I noticed my airbag light was flashing, I did this and BAM no more air bag light. Thank you sir.
