Valve cover gasket
What's good fam. I am getting ready to replace my valve cover gasket possibly this weekend. After reading up on a few threads it seems like a pretty str8 forward DIY job. Before I went in though, I wanted to see if any of you have done this and if so, do you have any suggestions or tips for me before I do it? I will appreciate any feed back.

Yes I have done a 100, be sure to put a dap of rtv in the corners so the seal doesnt fall out when you try and put it back in.

I also noticed a little bit of oil in one of my spark plug units, will the replacement of the gasket resolve that issue or is there a separate seal I need to install to resolve that? |
How much does it usually cost if you have a shop do it?

The oil in the spark plug tube will not be fixed by that. You need to buy a new valve cover or modify it to fit different seals. I suggest just buying a new cover as the seals were not intended to be removed.
G-off send me an email to discuss. Info@slammered-inc.com |

G-off send me an email to discuss. Info@slammered-inc.com Well here's a thought http://my350z.com/forum/engine/51287...asket-set.html I doubt I would ever do that though because drilling holes for stuff on my car just gives me goosebumps. :eekdance: |
