Bose output
I've searched around about this awhile back and this is the most visual proof i found...

My best guess is...222watts total(probably peak power) divide by 6 speakers(the description says 8 speakers but don't count the tweeters which probably shares the power with 6.5 speakers on the front doors).....
which is 37 watts peak per channel. RMS is probably half of that which 18-19 watts RMS per channel. Yeah...it sucks.

I was thinking of buying a small 4 channel alpine amp to push those bose speakers a little bit more. My friend did it with his Chevy pickup and it sounds pretty good. I just have a feeling that the speakers are under powered. My jl 500/1 pushing a 10" sub in a 4080 is kinda over-powering the mids and highs.
yep, do it...anything is better than the bose amp. I did mine and kept the the stock speakers and sounds way way better. Although the stock speakers can't handle much, it still pushes out more with an aftermarket amp.
