Are you talking about 19inch VVS-CV2? because they don't make them, all of them are 20s right now. However if they do make 19inch CV2 in the future i think they will still be decently heavy.
Just to give you some stats.
the stock 18inch G35S rims are about 23ibs per conner.
the stock 19inch G37S coupe rims are about 27 ibs per wheel.
the VVS-CV2 even the 20X8.5 (the smallest CV2 they have right now) is over 30ibs.
Just as a contrast, the Volk RE-30 19X10 is about 19ibs.
So yes the weight makes a huge difference. if Vossen does decide to make 19inch CV2, they will probably be just under 30ibs, i highly doubt that it will be any lower.
The difference here is the Volk is a forged wheel, while the rest are all cast mono-blocks. Honestly the only way to get a light-weight big rim (19 or 20) is to get a forged rim.
But then again, high quality forged wheels from Volk or Works will cost you around 1000 per rim, so it is very expensive.
So really the decision is yours, it all depends on your budget or if you are fine with the added weight.
As for me, I'm saving up in hoping i can have enough to afford Volk someday, but if anything good comes up in the mean time, i will jump on it.
Also just maybe there will be a day when Vossen Forged decide to make a version of the CV2. I hope

Great choice! Vossen makes a killer wheel... heavy, yes... but good lookin. I've got my eyes on the VVS CV1's. Lovin the deep concave.

Those are not Advans. They're ADV.1 and they are extremely overpriced and you may not even get your wheels...

Vossen is overhyped. and the concave is meh...at best

 

I have the CV1's and I'm satisfied with the look but what is going on with all the hating on Vossen? Get over it already and move on. It seems like every time someone mentions Vossen in this forum people can't help but give negative feedback. Not everyone wants to make their cars look Hellaflush, stanced, or whatever the hell you guys call it nowadays. By the way to the OP good choice on the CV2's if you ask me.

 

I'm not hating on Vossen, infact i love the look, but i just state the facts so that the OP know what he is getting into.

 

Most have no reason and have had no interaction with the company. They just don't like their wheels, style-wise I'm assuming and think that they have overhyped marketing. Who knew that great marketing was really overhyped marketing. Although I bet if these were Volk, Works, or some JDM wheels, it would be a different story.
