Custom cold air or stock intake housing with K&N

Ok so I was wondering which one would be better a custom cold air with auto zone piping or the stock intake housing with a K&n filter. I was thinking the stock filter housing due to the fact that the ecu is tuned for it rather than a custom CAI. Can I get some opinions thanks.

Amsoil filter, not K&N.
