Best way to close this gap?

What would you recommend as the best option for closing this wheel gap?

I don't want to add spacers, it would be a little too much poke.

From what I can tell I have a few options.

1. Add some wider tires and possibly a higher sidewall.

2. Slam it more on coils.

3. Reduce the neg camber and stick with the current wheels/tires.

What do you think would best close the gap considering cost, effort and the current setup.

I think it looks just fine as is and you don't have to worry "too much" about scraping over day-to-day road obstacles.

I think you should go lower with coilovers. I might have missed it, but what are you dropped on?

Definitely don't go with a higher sidewall because you have enough rubber already, you'll go further out of oem sizes and it will also lift the car even more and add to the 4x4 look.

And to answer your post in the other thread: I'm running 255 35 (9.5) and 285 30 (10.5) these fit the rim widths like "oem" with no big stretch and no bulge either - a bit less than square.

I used to have 245 35 up front but I got a better quality tire in 255 so I stick to that size. I also had 285 35 in the rear but that slightly rubbed the bumper bracket and also looked too big. The 285 30 brings the overall diameters close to even (front/back), brings back a level stance and also doesn't look oversized like the 285 35.

You can see above the 285 35 jacks up the rear too much.
And here below the tire is just too tall, starts to look like an SUV tire and takes away from the width of the actual tire and width of the car.

The gap is already perfect, any other mods would only damage your tires under highway conditions! You could reduce your negative camber by 1/4" but honestly that may cause issues...LEAVE IT ALONE! Your wheel/tire combination is (*)(*) and your coupe is perfect! Need something to do, go polish your hood!

I'm still itching to coils

The minor adjustments capability would be priceless!

Unfortunately this is my DD and I drive a crap ton of miles so I can't run it as close as you are Brad. The highway is brutal. I guess I'll leave it for now...I got my Volks in finally so I need to run these as a spare.

Gary, you are the voice of reason . Fine, I'll leave it alone.
