Junkyard run for a set of 07 hood latch assemblies and upper trunk lid latch assembly turned up zilch but found a HR Pipe already off and nestled in the trunk for $10.64. I could not pass that up. Hopefully the small rash on the flex section wont be a problem.
I know there's a thread in the G Spot sub forum about this but most of those guys are coupes. So I wanted to make one specifically for sedans. This thread can be about anything u did or are wanting to do with the G sedan. I'll start off. This is when I first got the car: Attachment 175361
Then I touched up the spots that were missing paint and installed the side corner lights:
That's cool man. I gotta replace the valve cover gasket and Serpantine belts. Got any pics?
dude your lucky lol last owner of my car was a broke college student , so maintenance was out the door ,
bought the car and week later oil light came on , said uh oh fuuuuckk, long story short ima be replacing the motor kuz now i got a lifter clearance tick , but these engines treated right put out decent power to have fun with i love my g even if it just sittin right now haha
Thx man. Dang that sucks. Hopefully everything goes smoothly moving forward. Through the repairs I've learned to love the G more. I definitely have plans for her.
Yesterday as I pulled into advance auto parts, I noticed a 2003 G35 Sedan with the factory nismo aero package so I give the the guy a thumbs up. To my disappointment, the guy didn't know what to do and just looked confused. No head nod, smile, thanks, nothing. I then popped the trunk to look at the oil type from the container I have used before (I have terrible memory) and the guy drove off. Idk if its because our cars are now 12-15 years old, or if people simply don't really know what they have when they buy our cars but I'm disappointed that the G35 Sedan love is weak. Idk about you guys but i take pride in my car. Sure the car is older, really common, and not the coolest looking thing out there but i worked hard for my G. I guess not every G35 owner is an enthusiast...

I agree, I've seen quite a few nismo aero sedans in my area and they are in bad shape. It's quite sad.
