DIY Clear TPMS Signal

Hi, I'm new here. I am looking for a way to use a sensor to clear the ever – present TPMS light.

can anyone recommend a brand and model of sensor diagnostic that I can use to clear the light?

You are sure it just needs recalibration correct? If it's because your TPMS sender batteries are dead in the wheels then it won't do any good. You can reset them without any special tools, the steps are laid out in this thread that should probably be moved to the brakes/tires/wheel/suspension section and STICKIED. Eh Blue /wink /wink ??

TPMS should clear by shutting off your engine, that would be what normally happens. If you have a sensor that's totally dead you'll need to buy a new set, when one dies the other 3 aren't far behind! Check Ebay, for Nissan wheel sensors! It may cost you more to have them installed than what it costs to buy them! Good Luck, enjoy the ride!

I have had the car for a year and a half. All 4 TPMS have been replaced reprogrammed and reset. Just recently I had new wheels and tires put on, including new TPMS. Still, the light comes on.

I just need something that will turn the light off when I comes on. I check the tire pressure every other time I fill up. The pressure is kept within .5 pounds and the dealer and other mechanics cannot figure it out.

The Nissan mechanics will know exactly what it is when the plug in Consult-II to your vehicle, here are the possible error codes that can be read with the right tool.
