The 05 sports sedan sports package does come with 18s. Anything less and it probably not the sports package. They are a split 5-spoke design with an Infiniti center cap. The 17's are a 7 spoke design. Also, the sports package brings a sports suspension. Make sure your shock absorbers are a red in color. Sorry, I don't have any pics right now to post.

Go here http://www.infiniti.com/content/0,,c...-52054,00.html to look at the Infiniti website gallery. Most of the pics there are G35s with the sports package. There's one without it....it's a Lakeshore slate blue sedan...first pic on the 2nd row.

Visually the 2005 Base G35 will have the 17" wheels and no rear headrest
2005 with just the premium package will have the 17" wheels with adjustable rear headrests
here is a picture of a 2005 G35 it could be a base or premium

A 2005 G35 with sports package will have 18" wheels with no adjustable headrests.
A 2005 with sport/premium will have adjustable rear headrest in addition to the 18" wheels since you are buying from an auction pay attention to this minor differences you will be able to figure out if the car is sport or none sport.

Wheels are the obvious clue but anyone can mount sport wheels on a non sport car. If you are actually able to see the vehicle, I believe the sport has different color shocks - red I believe.

Yes, the sport suspension brings red shocks and struts. Look for the red shocks/struts, 18 inch split 5 spoke wheels, and another clue, it better have the aluminum trim on the inside. The sport package can't be had with wood. I would say almost everyone has the alum. trim, but thought I'd mention that just in case. If you see wood, it surely didn't come from the factory with the sport package.

FYI, Well, actually, even the base model has headrests, just not adjustable headrests.

dont forget the optional oem 17" Chrome split-five spoke wheels shown in this thread: https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...factory+chrome

They cost alot, but I really like the way they look.
