vodkarocket | Parting Out | Unbelievable prices on aftermarket componenets!

EDIT 11/16/06: Wow, that was quick. Just a couple items left below.

It brings me great sadness, but due to new financial plans, I have decided that it’s best to part out and sell my car. I can’t even begin to imagine the thousands or hours and dollars I’ve spent researching, and getting the best parts. I’ve built a car that was different from any other sedan, and unfortunately I must let it all go. I wanted to offer first dibs to my local NorcalG members as you have all been very much a part of this buildup. At this point, I am NOT willing to ship. I’ve received tons of advice and assistance from you guys, and my car would never have been what it is without you. And don’t worry guys, I’m never leaving the G35 community. I’ll continue to help out local members and attend meets, despite what I drive.

I have sold quite a bit of parts lately, and there are probably a few more I’m not remembering, but I’ll add them to the list as they come to me. I’ve made the mistake of giving away many stock parts- should have kept them, but at least some of you guys got free parts! Now I am in need of an OEM airbox, OEM sedan sport package 18's in flawless condition, and an OEM 2005 sedan muffler.

Please send an email referencing the parts you are interested in buying to boris@norcalg.com. My PM box is full, so I will only accept offers in the form of emails.

Here come the parts:

1. Jline SDMSL2/Toyo T1R's SOLD to Alex!!!

20x8"F +35
20x9.5"R +45

Wheels have a brushed aluminum face and clearcoated, polished step lips. 2.25" lip up front, and 3" lip in the rear. Perfect aggressive fitment for a sedan with zero fitment/rubbing issues. Wheels and tires have 1,800 miles on them. Look absolutely brand new- not a scratch or knick on the wheels. I paid $4,500 for the combo three months ago. I waited 4.5 months for Jline to produce these wheels, and it really was worth the wait. Willing to let the wheel/tire combo go for $3,500.

2. Tein Basic Coilovers Sent back to Tein!

3. Stillen Adjustable Sway Bars SOLD to Albert!!!

4. Weapon *R “Secret Weapon” Ram Air Intake SOLD to Tim!!!

5. Strup Resonated Test Pipes

I bought these for $159, and have used them for all of 150 miles. I am willing to let them go for $90.

6. OEM 350z Middy w/ 8" Extension Not worth the labor of swapping- keeping this.

7. HKS Sedan Muffler SOLD to Robert!!!

8. Unichip SOLD to Ray!!!

9. MREV2 + MD 5/16” Copper ISO-Thermal Plenum Spacer SOLD to Andrew!!!

10. OEM Sedan Clear Corner + PIAA LED Bulbs SOLD to Robert!!!

11. Pioneer AVIC-D2 + JDM Double din dash + DVD player

* 2005+ DD a/c controller and DD trim/finisher/bracket
* PAC-SWI-X steering wheel control
* Scosche NN03 car stereo wiring harness
* Scosche FAI-3A OEM interface adapter (to use Bose amp with aftermarket headunit)
• Pioneer Avic-D2 navigation system
• Pyle DVD player & TV tuner mounted in DigitalWheelz custom frame (replaces upper glovebox cubby)

I paid $2,250 for this whole combo, and ran it in my car for only 4 months. Everything remains in 100% perfect OEM condition., and everything comes with its original box. Willing to let it all go for $1,375

Here’s a link with pics of this setup, when I just bought it and was considering selling it: https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...80#post1181480

12. OEM Sedan front lip spoiler SOLD to Randy!!!

13. OEM 2005 sedan Trunk w/ all emblems removed/holes filled and M3 Trunk Spoiler

I paid $550 for my bodyshop to remove all emblems, fill the holes from the Mt. Fuji emblem, install an M3 lip spoiler, and paint it to a perfect OEM match IP. Willing to sell for $200 + your OEM trunk.

14. OEM 2005 sedan Rear Bumper with integrated rearview camera

I paid $80 for a Pyle rearview camera, and $300 for the labor of having it flush mounted into my rear bumper (by the license plate). A clean hole was drilled through my bumper, and the metal support beam behind it. Looks stealth and OEM. This can be controlled through a variety of aftermarket headunits, or you can simply purchase a $100 screen to plug it into and mount inconspicuously within the car. Willing to sell for $125 + your OEM rear bumper. It’s in perfect dingless condition IP.

15. OEM Sedan 17’s custom painted gloss black SOLD to Chris!!!

16. Gordgee Grounding Gear 10 wire 5AT set in Smoke color Pending sale to Alex!!!

From a 2003 model, has a couple rock chips, but overall in good condition. Asking $35.

23. Nokya 2500K Hyper Yellow Fogs SOLD to Randy!!!

24. SPC Front Camber Arms Cancelled SPC order

This is one of two units produced that houses a sleek stealth display for a V1 in your ashtray location, and also has a switch (to be used for anything, i.e. rearview cam, foglights, etc.) that replaces the cig ligther. Asking $130, and includes the V1 stealth display ($50 value). See the following link for pics: https://g35driver.com/forums/showpos...7&postcount=14

I have a set of unrevised springs/shocks from an '04 350z with 15,000 miles on them. Asking $125 for the set.

sad to see you are parting out... planning to buy a place? ~9g's would help on a downpayment... or maybe you're getting a ring for your gf? i dunno, just speculating

how much do those JLines weigh... if they were 19's i would probably want to trade my wheels + cash with u... dunno if i could deal with the ride quality on 20's

Dang, Boris . . . You hosted the very 1st G meet that I attended. It was a grounding wire meet. Since then, the mod bug hit me moderately. Now, you are parting your G out. Gotta hand it to you, your G is one of my favorite looking Sedans.

In any event . . . I trust your new plans hold well for you and prove to be most productive. Pleased to read that you will be hanging around.

Sorry to hear you and Igor are switching back to stock and possibly switching cars(?). Any chance you'd split up the Motodyne package? I already have the spacer and ISO Thermal, so I'd be looking at the MREV2 only. So what car are you looking at? BMW 335? '07 G?

Wow Andy, I never would have guessed that was your first meet, what with your million posts and all

Boris, sad to see the black-roof sedan go! And I thought we convinced you a while back to keep the G. Good luck!

GroundingGear improves a bunch of the OEM characteristics of the car: https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...=groundinggear

For me, the most significant result was the MUCH improved shifting speeds.

Weightwise, you'll find these on par with any 19" set of Volks @ 22 pounds for the wheels... You'd be surprised how light they are- definitely lighter than the OEM 17's... As for ride quality, it's exactly the same as 19's given I have the same tire dimensions (besides the diameter) 245/35/20 & 275/30/20 that one would run on 19's.

As for the reason why I'm parting out, I'll get into that eventually.

Thanks Andy! You've been around for many of my mods, I'm just sorry that I was partially responsible for the modbug biting you.

Igor's just getting old! My main reason for going back to stock is that there were only two things left to do to my G- forced induction and BBK, and I didn't want to have $30k of mods into a $30k car.

As for the MREV2 only, give me a couple days to see what kind of interest there is in it. I'll split it up if nobody wants the full package.

Danny, get some mods on your car already. It's a shame to see that CB coupe not modded up.

We'll see. I'm infected by the modbug so even if it's a Kia, you better believe I'll put my touch on it.

I'm sure it'll be a badass Kia. What ever you slide into will be one of a kind. FYI, when you get a $50k car, you'll want to put $50k in mods iinto that too. My only regret is that I can't spring for a few more of your second hand parts. I'm sure most of the NorCal G riders are aware of your car but for those who don't know Vodkarocket, he's a good guy and very honest & fair. I have bought a few parts from him and would buy from him again without hesitation. Boris in a Kia, yeah right.

Thanks Mike. It's always been a pleasure dealing with you. Now buy my trunk/bumper!
