crankshaft position sensor question
I have read some posts in here that talk about pulling the upper and lower plenum to replace the crankshaft position sensors. I run a stillen s/c and there is no way in heck im gonna take that off! I have also seen some posts that say changing the sensors can be done from under the car. How realistic is that? can it really be done from under and would it be easier than taking off my s/c? also which is bank A and bank B in relation to driver - pass? and does anyone have a good link to a site I can purchase both sensors if needed?? oh the code that came up for my 06 coup is P0335
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

I think you're confusing the Camshaft sensors with the Crank sensor. There's only one crankshaft sensor and it is easily accesible from under the car.
The cam sensors are a bit more tricky to reach and while removing the plenum is not mandatory - it sure makes it easier. Bank 1 and 2 refers to their location. Pretty sure that Bank 1 = Passenger side, 2 = Driver side.

Yes the crankshaft sensor was bad. I replaced it and it did solve the problem.
Now I have other unrelated problems that are keeping me from getting on the road.
There is a way you can test your crankshaft sensor if you think that might be your problem. If your interested Ill send you the tread to show you how.

Yes it is very easy to change. If it threw the p0355 code, that is the crank sensor gone bad. you should be able to find one for less than $80. In the following link you will learn how to test the sensor. If p0355 is the only code you are getting, you should be good to go after you change it out.

THANK YOU all for posting this.
I have been through hell over the past 2 weeks, trying to figure out what is wrong with my '06 coupe. I should of checked here first!
Bought a brand new MAF Sensor (Ouch) and AEM coi before realizing it was a bad crankshaft sensor that was the root of my problem. (Code P0335)
All the info I found on here was MUCH MORE beneficial then my local dealership, repair shops, friends, etc.. Just wanted to say your time is much appreciated!
Buying my new sensor today and hopefully installing tomorrow. Will definitely post my results.
