anyone installed gordgee's grounding kit?

Was wondering if anyone here has installed it themselves, preferably the 10wire kit for 5AT...

Planning on ordering the kit... afraid installation might be difficult though. Never really done anything like this before...

are you going to attempt to install this yourself or pay someone to do it?

I have installed three of them. My sedan has the 10 wire kit plus I added two more to make it 12. :D Then I helped qmaster8 install his 8 wire set. I also worked with Gordon to develop a kit for the 5Gen Maximas, 2000->. So my wife's Maxima has one of Gord's kits as well. They are not too difficult for someone who is mechanical. Retrieving dropped bolts from the engine is one of the most difficult parts. Definitly have magnetic and mechanical pick-up tools.:o

I did myself. Actually broke a screw doing so, had to take to dealer to extrat the screw out. But it's one of my best mod. It really works, very strange I diddn't think it would. later I couldn't stand the BS wire, so I took it off & settled with 10 Minus 1 ground.

cato i heard the ECU + TCU wires are the hardest ones to get to, but the rest are easy... Don't know how I will be able to get under my car, can't even fit the factory jack under it, nor a hydrolift...

The ECU/TCU wires are actually pretty easy to install. You have to remove the glovebox to get to the ECU. so you might as well do the in-cabin filter at the same time. Its the transmission wire that is the tough one! :(

If you have the 5AT, you must get under your car to attach the transmission wire to the tranny housing. This was the most difficult part of the install. All seem to be in agreement about this one. The tranny wire really makes the manumatic shifts of the 5AT quicker.
