I've been hit again!

Oh man, I watched it happen this time..... My father took his new Honda Accord and backed it into my G35! While I was watching!!!! I'm gonna be sick. He put the bumper of his brand new 2006 Honda Accord EX into the passenger front door. Poor dad is getting old.. 78 years young. He feels pretty bad, I feel worse. Sooooo..... it's back to Malones Paint and Body. Maybe mine will sit next to Andy's for a while?:(

damn that sucks cato. you just cant keep this car out of the shop

andycon Dec 25, 2005 02:15 PM

Oh geez....sorry man. How bad is it?
Don't forget to check for any speaker damage - they missed that in my insurance assessment (custom MB Quarts got smashed)

Yeah, check on my gee while you are there will you? :)

I am planning to take a drive up there next week to see how things are going.

cato Dec 25, 2005 02:57 PM

Andy,

Give me a call and I will take you up there with me. We can talk to Da Man about our G work. I plan on going up next week to have Wayne do a quick estimate. The door is not crushed like yours were, just dented in sob....sob

youngturk Dec 26, 2005 11:01 AM

Cato, I am really sorry about your dad hitting your car. I hope the dent gets repaired quickly and both you and your father quickly forget it ever happened. It's got to be very frustrating to deal with these accidents. I hope you had a merry Christmas and have a happy new year.

cato Dec 26, 2005 08:33 PM

Thanks YoungTurk! This is the second time in the last 3 months that my dad has hit my car..... WTF??? The first time he side swiped my car. This time I parked in his drive all the way to the side so he could not side swipe me. Instead he put the rear bumber into the passneger door down to the rear door. ?? Dad is getting preoccupied with stuff and obviously does not pay attention while driving. I am scared of his driving around Austin....

MJ_G_35 Dec 26, 2005 09:57 PM

Sorry about that bro..
Will be fixed up soon.

marvinclt Dec 27, 2005 09:07 AM

Damn, you must have been naught for Santa to bring such a rotten gift. Sorry to hear that man. If there is anything I can do with my touchup kit, let me know :D

Ca$hio Dec 27, 2005 09:22 AM

Yikes! Sorry Cato. That same thing happened to my old G20t. My Grandfather backed into with an old ford pickup, right in the gas tank. My G20t only have 800 miles on it.
I know your pain.

5150DS Dec 27, 2005 09:39 AM

Sorry about the car man. Maybe you and your dad should have a sit down. If he's having these problems with low speed maneuvers think about freeway speeds. You wouldn't want him to get hurt or hurt someone else. Also explain to him one traffic collision could wipe him out financially unless he has adequate insurance coverage. Just a thought.

cato Dec 27, 2005 03:11 PM

USAA is gonna fix my car. I will put it back in at Malone's Paint and Body next week, or maybe end of this week. Yeah, I've been a bad boy this year and Santa brought my bag of coal for Christmas. Sob ..... sniff.....

maxpower Dec 27, 2005 05:31 PM

Dang it Dave, are you trying to replace your G a door, bumper, etc., at a time:D

the good news/bad news is you and Andy can start carpooling to the bodyshop:eek:
I hope the rest of your holiday season goes a bit better.....

Tom
