NC Meet for Z/G's!!
 

Hey guys/gals...wanted to be sure everyone on the G side of things was invited as well. I am a regular on the Z site but typically only browse over here. Anyhow....little meet is forming in the Greensboro area for those of you who are interested. here are the details..

Plans:

We will once again be meeting at the Sheetz Gas Station which is on
I40 exit number 213, Guilford College Road. There is a drive thru car wash there as well if someone is desperate. We will be meeting there between 4:00 and 4:30 to give everyone a bit of a window to make it in. From there we will leave promptly at 4:30 and will be taking a "countryside" drive down to the Hooters in High Point. Jgregory has taken the time to map out a back way into Hooters which will consist of about an hours worth of "spirited" driving so be sure your gas tank is full. We have arranged some parking privledges at Hooters but we must be there by 6:00pm and no later. Our last meet was a bit if a cluster for parking so we want to end that this time. Hooters will be roping off/cones about 8 parking spots until they hear from us on a final count. So after dinner, we plan on leaving sometime around 7:30, no set time really, and heading to www.grandprixgreensboro.com (indoor go-karts). They have the place booked till 7 so getting there any earlier won't do us any good. But we plan on running at least one race at GrandPrix which will cost around $25.00 per person unless you are a member. Once we get a better idea of a head count I am going to try and get a group discount, but we'll see what happens. GrandPrix is open until midnight so no rush once we get there. After that its up to everyone what you want to do.

I will try to stop by on the way back from VIR.

yeah still a little jealous about that. i wanted to try and get in 5 events so i could compete in the NASA TT finals at Mid-Ohio, always next year I guess.

work this weekend, but I'll see if I can get off early enough (probably around 3pm) to make the meet...I'll be coming from fayetteville if I do get a chance to leave, so needless to say I will be doing quite a bit of spirited driving :driving: before the meet :D

Last meet there were a few guys that came up from Fayetteville. Luie who has a monster of a TT Z. And his buddy who's name i can't remember I think had a red Z. If they are coming may make for a fun trip up! I will try and find out.

Good news.... each race at GrandPrix GoKarting is only going to be $13 bucks!! Typically its $25/race. GREAT PRICING!!

cool man, thanx...does the guy with the red z have a topspeed exhaust and and K&N filter? If so, I think he's deployed...but anywho, maybe I can catch them on the way back because I'll be getting off from work around 2:30-3:00. I'll prbably be the only guy up there with carolina temp tags, so if you see me gimme a holler...I have an 06' OB 6MT if that helps narrow it down. We'll see you guys there!:biggthumpup:
