UR Pulley Install at Neffster's House
 

Hey guys, Jason from Performance Nissan is going to be in Orlando this weekend. He wanted to swing by if I was planning on installing my Crank Pulley. The pulley should be arriving today or Friday at the latest via UPS, so I thought I'd throw this out...

Tentatively... Saturday morning at 10am, install and beer at Neffster's house. I also need someone with a really long breaker bar to show up (since I don't have one yet), if not, then I have to make a SEARS run...

Would anyone be interested? We'd probably do the typical Ale House lunch (and beer) session after the install.

I would be interested, where is the house, can someone give me directions, an address is all i need. My first group install!!! yay! But i prob won't bring my car, still being worked on....

Update: The UPS website shows my package delivery date as today (Thursday), BUT there was no pickup this morning in Jacksonville (It shows an arrival of yesterday, but no p/u as of 12:30 today. I'm hoping to have the pulleys by Friday.

Does anyone have an 18 or 24 inch breaker bar that I can borrow? TIA...

Sorry to inform you that the pulley install party is going to be canclled.

Short story... The UR Crank Pulley installation instructions say to "torque the pulley bolt to ~36 ft.lbs. and then to tighten the bolt an additional 60-66 degrees. After some conversations with a good friend I've found out that the tightening of the bolt an additional 60-66 degrees is called "Torque Stretch". This basically ruins the stock bolt if it is ever removed (hence why so many people say that the stock bolt is a PITA to get off. The threads have reached their elastic limit). The new pulley doesn't come with a new bolt. Orlando Infiniti will not have another bolt for me until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

Hence the install party is called off. However, please see the "Bennigan's This Friday night at 5:00" post for beer and dinner conversation. Again, sorry about having to call off the install.
