Where to install wheel spacers near the 626?

With Dru gone, we don't have hook ups at Street Image anymore.

Thanks a lot, Dru.

I gave them a call, anyway. Actually, a few calls. No one picked up.

I then proceeded to call WCN. When I asked him for a quote to install two spacers (w/ extended studs) up front. He quoted me labor for 4 hours, which comes to a total of $470. Did I forget to mention that they said they've never installed spacers before? What?

WHAT THE FACK?

It shouldn't take more than 2 hours at most from what I understand. Back when Dru was working at SI, it was only $60 to install two spacers + extended studs.

Anyone know of a better and cheaper place to go around th 626 to have my spacers/extended studs installed?

Edit: SI picked up and they want $150

Seriously, I guess it's the best to DIY, I had a friend that worked at a shop the time I did it, I got my 2 fronts done for like 60 bucs. Just got to find a place that knows for a fact that its easy and know that you know its easy, and is willing to work for small labor, not many good places like to do minor jobs these days, although some will. Try a regular mechanic auto service place.

+1 I haven't washed in since early December - and not because of the "harsh" winter (wait, what's winter?).

I think I might wash it next week.

As for the one hour labor, that's what I was expecting to pay...

100 for rears or fronts as long as the hub doesn't need to be taken apart.

I have two screw drives and some pliers. Oh and maybe a hammer or two.
