immature ******* key'd my car

At my apartment someone key'd my g35 and my roommates cls550, and they mess up my carbon fiber hood and trunk =/ This happen in villa sienna in irvine. I hate haters out there, over 50 cars were key'd. People keying hoods and
everywhere imaginable. I got a long *** key from my hood to my fender all the way around my entire car cause of some ****tard. Do u guys think this can be a lawsuit since my apartment dont have adequate security and garage cameras? This is some bull**** and with gas prices, this doesn't help. Anyhow anyone know a good place to get an estimate?

Dang, sorry to hear that. Hopefully whoever did it gets caught. Not sure if a a lawsuit against your apartment would work out too well. Don't think you'll win... if you do win, chances are they won't want you living there anymore.

that sucks

Unforunately, your apartment can't be held responsible AFAIK... it's like those parking structures that say that they're not liable for damage, fire, etc.

If you're gonna go through your insurance, I do know a really good body shop, but theyre (REALLY REALLY REALLY) expensive.

Sorry about your car... I know how u feel

Outsiders have access to this garage? Look for the cars that didn't get keyed?

Oh ya, don't forget the police report. Over 50 cars? Should have called the cops over.

Yeah we had the cops and csi all over, took picture and crap, and all they told me is to tell my insurance my case # lol....well my private parking is gated however it can be access through the use of the elevator. They do offer a garage for one car if paid extra, this is in regards to phatice's question. The security at Villa Sienna is good but night time security sucks! The security crew thats on guard at night time is usually stoned too lol...Pretty much the leasing center told me their corporate company is going to give me a call in regards to this incident, but who the hell knows how long it"ll take. Pretty much everyones car got key'd, I went to the visitor parking lot to check my girlfriends car out since it was parked over night. Guess what? Got key'd and pretty much all the cars in the lot got key'd. It is just ridiculous to go and do that to people. I am just so angry, as a fellow car enthusiast, it sucks to see your car go to **** after all the money and hard work you put into it, to have some jacka$$ go screw it up. WHO KEYS LIKE 5, 1 ft LINES ACROSS UR CF HOOD AND TRUNK! THATS RIDICULOUS!

I agree as well, that's blatant negligence on their part. I would look into filling a complaint with the building administrator and seeking legal advice, specially for those whom don't have full coverage.
