Getting past all the Drama/BS, You guys are still more than welcome to hang out with us at the old meet spot, in front of Subway. We could use a little luxury to brighten our day after seeing and wrenching on our neons forever and a day.
Oh and in response to one of the other guys regarding why I bought a neon SRT-4 (I know you were being more generalized and not specifically at me):
#1 Best bang for the buck
#2 It's what i was able to afford (college student)
#3 I really wanted an Evo, but couldn't afford it.
#4 If I was more into luxury/VIP stuff I probably would have got a G or an M45 or even
a Lexus model, which is something I'm looking forward to since I plan on having a
family.
Some of you guys have some awesome cars, a lot of time and money was put into them, much like us neon owners put time and money into ours. It's a fun hobby we're into, as we grow older we move onto different things. I'm sure Dave wasn't always into the G's i'm pretty certain he started off with a muscle car of some sort. We make all kinds of friends as well. I think i've become closer to some of these guys over the 3 years i've had my car than the friends i've known since grade school.
I plan on keeping my ACR SRT 1 of only 1500 ever made now it's actually more rare since lots of irresponsible parents bought their irresponsible kids these "powerful" neons.
With that said, let's all just sit back relax and hopefully admire one another's rides at the next meet.
