http://www.clearcorners.com did my headlights.... 2.5 years ago and I'm still lovin' it!

You're not paying for the parts. You're paying for the labor and the quality of work being done. While someone can do so at home, they may not do it as clean as clearcorners.com. It can be simple things as the precision of the holes drilled and placed at an even distance apart from one another, soldering wires together rather than crimping, twisting, electrical taping them, excessive adhesive, etc.
I'm sure others can do it just as good and cheaper, but also, will they take liability for anything that happens to them? Likely not. If you're worried about the quality behind it all and want it flawless with no issues and have the coin, I'd go clearcorners.

I understand, but it's like ARC and Amuse. Look at how much an ARC oil cap retails for. You can get a Nismo one for much cheaper...but what's the difference? ARC is considered more baller. If you have the $$$, you'll buy it and people will know wassup. Same with Clear Corners. Mention they did your headlights and it's automatically.
