well fellas u can't complain when ya don't put ur 2 cents in. Meets are always liable to change if u try hard enough to find a spot for us too meet with plenty of room and no harassment from the owners. And we did do a north side meet. Only Alex went and it sucked cuz it was raining that day =/

 

so how was the meet? i was not able to make it to this one since im in chicago for new years

The meet was good. Some of the usal suspects showed and a few new faces.

In regards to Alex's comment...I agree. We did make the meet schedule a year in advance. We also tried to make it close to everyone as possible and a central location. Further to the point we have Black Betty who lives in Baytown and he still makes the meets. While I understand that we can't make every meet all the group asks is to at least make an effort. Without you there wouldn't be a Strictly G's

What happen was me and a friend went to get some late lunch on saturday, I pulled in to IHOP but like always some women are picky so she said "I don't like it, let's go to blah blah", I don't remember the name of the place it was a crawfish place (I'll ask her later). Well about midnight, I started to get some burning feeling in my chest followed by acid reflux which I have never had.

I said oh well must of being the spicyness of it, well around 7 BOOM! sharp pain on my stomach followed by unstoppable vomiting (Look like the Exorcist Lol), they took me to the hospital, come to find out Food Poisoning!

Lesson learned: If she don't like the place you are going then just leave her in the car.

Was it crawfish? I'm from Louisiana. Never, ever eat crawfish out of season. Ever. No matter what Asians at restaurants tell you, don't eat crawfish out of season. You will die or feel like you wish you were dead when they make you sick. But I guess you know that now.

On a happy note - my Akebono's came today - hell yeah! Should be getting installed next week hopefully!! These rotors are heavy as hell, but man they look good!
