great success! just proves a meet doesn't need to be huge to be fun

I forgot to ask while we were there - does anyone have their stock 17s laying around? Possibly that would like a new owner to put them to good use? Let me know, i'll post up in the whole Texas forum if noone here does.

 

Just got home. Yup had a great time, seeing old and new faces. Definitely need to get together and do this more often!

Popcornten, thanks for taking the effort to set this up. Really appreciate it. It's hard to get the G meets going. I know I tried many times in the past before eventually gave up.

 

yeah we need to get more stuff going on - have fun at the july 4th meet anyone that goes

maybe later next month we can do a cruise to kemah or galveston, give their economies a much needed lil boost and grab dinner - maybe sunday the 12th? if we get some interest I can set that up too - maybe call in and get some reservations

should we start a Houston FS thread in Texas forum? maybe say in the first post ONLY to post things and just PM the person about them so it stays clean and concise and its easy to see

 

Sounds good. I know on the 12th they are having the annual Coffee and Z/G meets. Thats a bi-monthly thing started by one of the guys on my350z.com and he welcomes the G's. So perhaps you guys can show up to that meet that is coming up and we can set this one on another date?

As far as the for sale, that would be up to the moderator. I'm not sure who it is these days. I believe it's cato?

 

dang - well i either have spirited driving plans or am out of town for the majority of next month on weekends. well i'll start a post about it and see if there's any interest still at some point

Don't worry there will be a next time. Let's start planning guys. When's the next meet going to be? Or should we have an official bi-weekly event at same location and time. That way it will take away from any confusion and people will start coming out more to each meet since the dates/times/location will stay the same. Pretty soon, if word gets around Houston about the meet, then hopefully we can have bigger turn outs each time. It'll start small and hopefully can turn into a big thing.

 

Was really good to meet you guys. We'll def do this more often and get somethin more structured setup for Houston.

Yeah I'm going to try and make it, I will hit you up when I know for sure lol, knowing my schedule its a toss up. Crossin my fingers hopefully my wheels will be on but I doubt it lol they are takin forever!
