Houston G Club ( Shirt Ideas and events )
No member should have to pay for these initially, that's what sponsors are for. If we don't mind having small sponsor logos on the shirt, we can get them at no cost to the members. Betty's Garage will volunteer to sponsor shirts for everyone in exchange for a small sleeve logo. If we want to consider other sponsors, that is fine by me as well, if they are helping to pay costs. Some folks may rather not have a sponsor logo though, so I think we should decide that as a group.
I too am with Mike about the lettering. We will all have different opinions and like him, I'll go with what makes the majority of members happy. I like a font that is more bold and easily readable than the large flowing cursive script type fonts. Just my .02 FWIW.

Script fonts will not go with our image at all. Script is used mostly for elegant and classy stuff. But us, we want something bold, sleek, clean, edgy and sporty at the same time. So that's why I came up with what I did... now maybe i can just leave it like that or add to it just a little bit more. And perhaps when our name gets out there, we can drop the strictly g's and just go with SGZ(Reversed out S BTW) and maybe have it say the different locations. Thats when or if we get large enough to cover other cities and what not. I was thinking about using the brush stroke that they used in the g35 commercials where its a stroke of a side profile of our cars, or use the Mt Fuji Emblem with Strictly G's underneath. Just throwing out ideas.
Thanks Mike for the compliments. I was thinking for the t-shirt that on the back we can have an image of the trunk of our cars showing the Mt. Fuji emblem, and then right underneath instead of the I N F I N I T I lettering it will say S T R I C T L Y G ' S instead...
imo i don't want too much on the shirt. less is always more to me. adding too much will clutter it and make it look too busy. A small simple logo somewhere on the front and the back a nice simple design will really make it shine.

LoL to jeremy i dont care about the sponsorship since half of us probably use ur product anyway . and to me i just want a shirt ^_________^ ya guys can squabble =D once the designs are up. i'll print both or how ever many their are and do a pole at the next monthly meet. Event schedule wise 2morrow im going to check out fresh catch down on hwy 6 and bissonet. fernando tells me its ez access for dropped cars and also can hold 40+ cars. i'll also try to check out a burger joint called christian's tailgate off of washington and i-10 which is right about smack dab in the middle of houston.
P.S. keep them ideas comingggggggg if u got a design throw it in there every 1 will get to vote =)

dang mike that looks good!
what about using ncykids design on the front - then maybe on the back we get 1 of each gen sedan/coupe (yeah i know we'll argue a lot about this, but we'll figure it out) and go to where jeremy's avatar picture is and take a picture with the cars positioned like in mike's tshirt idea with the houston skyline in the background? then just make it B+W i guess, that'd be a sweet background for the cars
frat tee? (pocket with a logo on it) hahaha

I just put the logo there as an example of a stylized outline like the brush stroke one Gabe was talking about. Not my exact logo although that would be sweet IMO.
I think Kens design is nice and clean. i think it would be nice to have the Houston skyline with a coupe and a sedan facing each other. I was also thinking have the texas outline on the back and instead of a star to show where Houston is located maybe we can use the MT Fuji. I dont know im just throwing ideas out there.
