Wait for the full first oil change. If you can get the GERMAN 0w-30 it's a fine oil and is fine to use. I will be doing 5k intervals for the first 15k and then I'll be going 10k drain intervals with a filter change at the 5k mark. I normally use Amsoil. Amsoil, the German Castrol Syntec, Mobil 1 EP and Redline are all good oils. The regular Castrol Syntec is horrible. Testing show Castrol GTX dino oil outperforms their Syntec. The normal Syntec isn't a Group IV synthetic. Amsoil and Mobil 1 EP are. I believe Redline is a group V oil.
so you are saying to change at 3750 but put dino in then at the 7500 mile mark then put synthetic in the car...
what is your take on changing the oil at early interval like 1000 mile due to metal shavings?
What oil filter should i use....????
thanks

I would say wait the first 10k to let everything settle. I use castrol 0w30 and it seems to be working better then mobil 1... I was having slight oil burning issues but with the german castrol it went away. I was burning 1qt about every 1000 miles. I switched to german castrol and it went down to half a quart at 1500 miles.

Your sig indicates that you may have the "Rev-Up" engine, some of which have oil-burning issues and synthetic oil has been accused (rightly or wrongly) of being a contributing factor.
Mobil 1 has apparently not been a "true" synthetic for some time now and cyberchat mentions the European Castrol as a "true" synthetic alternative to the Mobil 1. Amsoil and Redline are "true" synthetics and their price reflects that.
I believe that it is conventional wisdom to use dino oil during the break-in and early mileage of an engine and to not use synthetic oil. Of course, everyone has their own pet theories and preferences (drive it like Grandma versus drive it like you stole it... during the first 2,000 miles, for example).

If you go to Maxima.org and then go to their fluids section you will see a sticky for a oil analysis spreadsheet. VQ's tend to require long breakin times upwards of 10k. If you use synthetic before then, it will prolong this time. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I will be changing over to Amsoil before the 3k mark because my G35's inspection sticker is from March 07.
Mobil 1 is not a true synthetic, but Mobil 1 Extended Performance is (Mobil 1 EP for shortname) It's price also reflects this. Amsoil and Mobil 1 EP can be purchased for nearly the same price. Redline is considerably higher in cost. Redline is a great oil, but it's no better than the Amsoil or the Mobil 1 EP. It has been rumored on bobistheoilguy.com that the German made Castrol Syntec will not be sold in the US for much longer. A shame really as it's a far superior oil than their US sibling.
Lastly, synthetic oils do not tend to burn off. I suspect if you have a 1 quart burn off the car should be looked at. That's alot of oil.
