Hi. In case you need a performance shop for exhaust, springs, wheels/tires, alignments, alignment kits, truck suspension(lift kits and accessories) etc...
Sals Autosport http://www.salsautosport.com/ 14300 Northwest Fwy(290) Houston, TX 77040 713-462-8500 salsautosport@yahoo.com This guy is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I'm putting this here because I have lurked here for awhile and have seen people asking for shops to go to. I have a 2003.5 G35 sedan. |
cool, thanks^^ I just had my lowering springs installed there and had the car aligned as well. Everything went well, could not be happier.
|
I also recommend Prestige Motorsports off Aldine Mail Rd. I had my Tein 350Z H-Techs installed there today and Jason, the owner, did an excellent job.
|
bump.

I was just up at Sal's on Friday....very impressive! Nice guys who know what they are talking about.
(I was the guy in the white G Coupe with the black TE37's) They are going to be doing my nitrous install here within the next month...pictures coming when its complete. |
Thanks for the post. What are their rates like for suspension work?

oh btw, when they do the spring install--they do it right so that when you leave you are already lowered completely--none of this drive it for a few miles and it will settle garbage--the pressure is released on the suspension before u leave. |
I asked for a quote on the spring installation labor of Secret Services, Sals, and Prestige. By far, Sals is the most expensive, then Secret Service, then Prestige FWIW.

I just had my Sedan lowered by Sal's last weekend and I have two words to explain my visit..." Outstanding Quality". I had a set of Eibach springs installed as well as my fenders rolled. Great work, friendly service, and highly knowledgable of what they do. I live in the Clearlake area so getting there was a bit of a drive but all and all, it was well worth it.

I agree. to the poster above you, it's not always about finding the cheapest price. It is about quality work done right the first time and about people who know that your satisfaction leads to more word of mouth referrals. |
I just checked them out, the price for a drop is actually quite reasonable. It's a little lower than what i've managed to get from other outlets like Pro-Am Auto, and the price includes alignment. Not to mention, i wouldn't have to leave the car all day at their shop.
However, i think i'll try doing it myself this time around and use Sal's for other projects. Thanks for the tip either way. |
