What's the best location to find spark? (for dyno)
Hey guys,
I just put on my Borla TD, and I'll be going back to the dyno soon. Last time I went there the tech had a problem getting a good spark signal. Does anyone know where a good easy to access location is? He got a signal after putting his sensor on some wires around one of my spark plugs. It was hard to reach, and no amount of smoothing reduced the waviness of the dyno readout. It looked like I had wheel spin on my whole pull. Moreover, the first location we picked was horrible. I was making pulls at 190whp :icon43: . After messing around with it, everything jumped up to the expected numbers, but it was still wavy. I want to avoid a similar situation when I go back. Any help is appreciated. |
I know what u ra talking about, because I experience a similar problem on a dynojet.
All I can suggest is for the tech to hook up to the "black wire". |
