'08: MP3 Playing from CF Card Doesn't Pause for Bluetooth Phone Calls...
I'm guessing that I may be overlooking a setting, or I'm just out of luck, but I'd love to be proved wrong. I like to load up my CF card with Audio Books and listen to them on the commute to and from work. It works out great until I get a phone call. The sound cuts out, but the audio book or music continues to play silently effectively losing my place in the story. Is there a way to make it pause instead of just muting when I receive a call? Once the call comes in, I can't even seem to Pause the music or even turn off the radio manually to keep my place.
Also, has anyone else had any issues with the time displayed for MP3's played from Compact Flash moving around all over the place? The music track doesn't jump around like crazy, but the display just goes nuts when I fast forward and rewind changing by tens or hundreds of minutes even though the music is moving fairly steadily. Is this the kind of thing I should bring in under warranty? Thanks, Kevin 2008 Graphite G35S Sedan 2002 Electron Blue Z06 Corvette |
Well as for the first bit yes the car keeps playing your CF/Cd etc through a phone call with mute, the only way to maintain your position in the track is to TURN OFF the audio system when the phone is ringing on your screen, BEFORE you answer the call and then you can turn on the audio once done with the call, unfortunately for some unknown reason their is no pause button like in older gens.
As for second bit i have never had that happen, but if the music plays ok i wouldnt care too much. |
