Lowering springs for G35X?
 

Does anyone know if there is a specific lowering spring kit for the G35x, or do the kits offered from H&R or Eibach apply to all G35 models?

I know that Audi's can be lowerd and they are AWD therefore there must be a way to lower the G35X, right???

Any of the springs will work but will lower you 1/2" more than the rwd sedan.

whats the problem with just putting the eibach's or H&R springs?

on FX's, it was the same springs RWD or AWD, fx35 or 45.

I can confirm this! I've lowered my 2004 G35X with RWD G35 Sedan H & R sport springs. Drop is about 1.5 inches, maybe a little lower, with an amazingly even drop!

I would recommend H & R springs to all G35 Sedan owners, but many owners already know this.

would springs void the warranty?

nope...it has not voided mines and i go to the dealer for all my maintanance. The only way they can void it if it's the ride height messes up ur undercarrige or if u hit ur tranny at a lowered height.

my buddy dropped on 2006 Tein H-techs G35 sedan on his '07 G35x

da mayor did he change them out. I remember he posted that he us h&r springs.

i know the 350z ones were too low .... i see infini07g35x almost every day

It looked sicked for that drop on the H&R. I guess this is probably a better ride with the h-techs.

Hey guys i have a 07 g35x sedan and im looking to get lowering springs for it. I was looking into the tein springs because they give about a 1.8 inch drop and when i asked around they said there arnt any springs for the awd only rwd. Can you guys help?? Thanks

The thread here details it all out pretty well.

Basically, you can run any G/Z springs on your sedanX and it'll give 1/2 inch more drop than what is expected on a regular Sedan.

It's the front shocks - not springs - which are shaped different for the X as they have the extra bit at the bottom to wrap around the front drive shafts (where the rwd models shocks just go straight down)

Okay got just one more thing will i be able to use the front shocks on the awd without having to change anything?
