Lowering Springs ... What's the Difference

I just had a question regarding lowering springs. I noticed that some people were putting on springs for the 2003-2006 Sedans on their 2007-2008 G35 Sedans and i wanted to know what is the difference from using ones made for our cars specifically and using lowering springs from the previous generation. Is the handling the same ? the ride quality the same ? Cause i see the spring rate for the 2008 lowering springs and look at the spring rate for the previous sedans and it seems that 2008 lowering springs have a higher spring rate so does that mean if we use the 2003-2006 springs does out handling get worse then stock? Someone please shed some light because i want to go Low as possible with my sedan.:)

In my investigation, all 07-08 redesign springs have MUCH higher spring rates. Using 03-06 means you're riding on spring rates designed to reproduce the feel of the old sedan. Probably feels fine but in comparison to the 07-08 springs, most likely handling is dimminished.
