How will it affect the stock camber arm when you go back to stock?

Your car will feel like a boat. Once you do this mod think of it as the point of no return. But it is so well worth it!

^^^ are you kidding? "drive like a boat" I think he is asking because it will increase the amount of adjustment that can be made to the camber. How would this make your car drive like a boat?


I have never tried it on the camber mounting point but I know you have to cut it for the toe bolt on the z33 chassis. I also don't think it would affect anything when you put it back to stock if you tighten the bolt properly and have your car alligned

supracrazy, i'm a bit concerned that even with tightening of the bolt, that extra space to move could theoretically allow the bolt to slide slightly - especially since the suspension gets a lot of hard impacts on a daily basis.

I was concerned about the SPC toe bolt & its large washer moving around, too, but using white-out, I marked a line on the washer and on the suspension piece to which the bolt and washer are attached to, and can verify that the bolt and washer DO NOT move.

EDIT: Oops, you are referring to putting the stock toe bolt in the enlarged hole. Hmmm..that I don't know... I would just take out the camber arms and leave the toe bolts installed.

The hole is elongated slightly, not enlarged according to the supplied template. It will have no affect if/when you want to re-install the stock arm. I don't have mine anymore, but maybe someone can scan/photograph the template and post?

Thanks, all. I'm still concerned about how it will affect going back to the OEM set-up. I guess, worst case scenario i could just keep the aftermarket stuff on there if i decide to take things off.

If anyone has the template, i'd appreciate it. Until such a time, would it be okay to run without the aftermarket camber/toe kit?

Elongating the hole has zero effect on movement.
The cam holds it in place.

& If you have the stock arm & SPC bolts, why even bother putting the OE bolts back?

actually, you don't need to put the new toe bolts in place. The OEM toe has enough room to do the adjustment back to spec. I never installed the toe bolts on mine and the alignment shop adjusted back to spec.

You're one of the lucky ones. I have Eibachs, too. I tried getting everything in spec without the bolts, but it was a no go for me.
