Dropped with H&R's, now paying the price

Took my car in for an alignment since I was getting poor inside tire wear and found out that the camber specs are at -2.6 degrees on both front tires.

Quick question: will the SPC 72130 front camber kit fix my problems?

If so, where is everyone buying them from? Please let me know if you can recommend a better (or cheaper) allignment kit that will get the camber back to where it needs to be.

Thanks in advance to all responders.

That kit is the correct one. It should fix your camber easily. I don't think there are any other front camber kits out there. As long as you keep your car for a while, the camber kit will pay for itself after just a few years.

Nice. Any suggestions on where to buy? I'm doubting anyone in the marketplace is selling these.

-2.6...Wow that's a lot more camber than I've ever heard of from the H&R springs.

The drop from the H&R should usually result in less than -2.0* of camber, around -1.6 to -1.8* actually.

Definitely look into the SPC kit it should be just what you're looking for.

Try talking to Lou@Amplified, he should have them in stock. I think Andy@HPAutoworks sells them too but I've never checked.

Sorry to hear about the camber issue...good luck

Has everyone here who has dropped their car also purchased a camber kit? I'm looking to get H&R's or an Eibach kit but am debating if I should also go with a camber kit...Thanks in advance!!

I have the SPC front and rear arms, i installed them myself after my eibach springs settled. then went to get an alignment. Purchased the front arms from andy@hpauto. i would recommend it for the long run. SPC are currently the only manufacturers of adj. front upper a-arms for the 2nd gen sedan

I dropped it on Eibachs, but only had the rear spc camber installed. Is it really necessary to have the front camber done to with eibachs?

Yes unless you do not mind uneven tire wear. I have them on my car with Eibach springs.

Hey Borna,

Are those the actual email addresses (i.e. lou@amplified.com) for those guys? I tried finding them on the forum to send a PM but no luck. Any other references/websites would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about Andy's email address but Lou's email address is lroc@amplifiedmotorsport.com
I'm sure Lou will have the SPC camber kit so just drop him a line.
