which rotars usually warp first?front,back?

The reason I ask is that my car vibrates a lot when coming to a stop from anything 35+ and I can remember it doing this pretty much right when I got the car at the dealer in 08.
My car is running low on brakes and I know how pricey resurfacing the rotars can get so which rotors do you think is causing the problem? the car almost has 27k milege if that helps any

-thanks

Your rotors are probably warped. Have you changed them since your purchase on the car? I would believe that the front rotors wear out first, but you can always bring the car in. Correct me if i'm wrong anyone?

Most likely the fronts as they are like 75% of the braking.

I had the same problem w/ my ride. Change all four rotors & pads. Don't bother resurfacing imo

front rotors cause the majority of the vibration

Front rotors for sure. Search forum for "brake judder", download TSB from infinitihelp.com (need to register, it's free) and then have your dealer resurface/replace rotors under warranty.

no I have never changed them I felt the vibration early around 5k miles but never said anything to the dealer

Had mine fixed under warranty about a year ago. As I recall I was around 35000 km.
TSB ITB00-024e and the newer ITB09-037.

Also - brakes rotors don't actually 'warp'

i had the same problem, but i changed the front and back pads and the vibration stopped

I sure hope they do it under my warrenty , new rotars are gonna kill me right now financially :52:

I just had mine done last week and there was no charge.
Even the loaner car that the dealer gave me had brake judder.

Side note: easiest way to warp your rotors is to wash your car right after driving (rotors are hot and spraying them with water is a bad idea).

Also, the dealership charges 5x as much as a brake shop. I had all four brakes done for $230.... dealer wanted $1200.

1200 with brakes and resurfacing?
