I'm based in New Zealand and have a 2007 Nissan Skyline 350GT PV36 Been looking at coilovers for quite some time now. I know a guy in Australia who is selling a complete set of RSR black coilovers for V36's for $900 bucks with 10k miles on them, also looking on B2AutoDesigns and they have quite a few options as far as KW V3's, Tein etc just looking for opinions on people who have different coilovers and the ride quality/harshness etc

I have Tein Street Basis which I picked up new for $800 shipped here on the vendor page (great sale imo). Honestly the ride quality blew me away for what I was expecting. I'm dropped a little under 2 inches and it's just slightly firmer, but in a very positive, stable way. My parents couldn't even tell the difference, and every non-gearhead who sits in the car for the first time doesn't even realize unless I scrape lol. Of course at this height I have to be careful what I drive over and the speed at which I take speed bumps (if at all) but that's the name of the game.

The only drawback is the lack of dampening adjustments, but I find that to be unnecessary for me on a daily that most likely wont be tracked. That and in order to adjust height you have to adjust the springs. I have found a happy balance however.

I have almost no fender gap on the front(1 finger) and only a slight amount more on the back(1-2 fingers). I am also on a slightly aggressive wheel spacer fitment, so they sit almost flush with the fenders.
