Wheel Spacer Problem

I have a g35 coupe and I was trying to install some wheel spacers in the front and I ran into a problem. I could not put the wheel spacer on because there was an extra red stud that was sticking out with no thread on it. My friend told me that it may be to hold the rotor in place but I am not sure.

Can someone let me know what I can do to get the wheel spacer on?

That stud is to prevent the rear tires from accidently being put on the front rotors (offset wheel size on your vehicle). You can remove the stud its a 12mm bolt from the inside.

Thanks man I was able to get it off. It was pretty easy.

Now that I was able to get the spacer on, my stock studs come out too far past the spacer so it is not flush. I don't really want to get a bigger spacer because I feel like it will be too much. What do you recommend to cut the stud?

I used a portaband to cut mine but any type of cutting tool would work, sawzall/skinny wheel cutoff, hacksaw if you have no other option.
