Am i the only one that sees the graph differently. I see a ~20 hp gain not 44.
Where are u guys getting the 44hp gain from??

Interesting results though. I was expecting a bit more than that for the HR, but i guess that motor is pretty maxed out just like the DE. That is about the type of gain i got from osiris tune and similar mods to urs. I am not surprised on the intake issue either. Nissan/infiniti has the most efficient intakes from the factory and it has been proven that no aftermarket intake is going to make an impact on the power of the car and most of them will take power away.

Without a doubt HR engine is a very nice engine. I wish i could make power till ~7000.

Congrats!

Scroll down a little bit and check out the dyno graph on that page...

The owner of that 350Z (with VQ35HR) only has Injen Cold air intakes and the reflash...OMG.

dyno is on page 1 of that thread.

damn, pretty nice, hope it works out that way for the G35ers... you notice that difference on your car Slate?

As far as the Technosquare flash... my question is, you have to send the ECU out? Then, what if your at the dealership and they have an update flash and override it or somehow get your flash back to a stock flash. Then do you have to get the ecu sent back out, or is this something you'd have to have a dyno tuner for and to keep on hand in case that happens?

Here, north of the D/FW area, not sure where a tuner would be so I'm not sure how all of that works for us country bumpkins...

Only mod he has on his car is the Injen CAI...

Red Line is his hp/tq reading *AFTER* the re-flash...

I just spoke to him over the phone and he said Tadashi was STUNNED... Said he couldn't believe how well these intakes worked on a stock VQ35HR (Tadashi hates intakes for our HR motors BTW)... James (owner of the 350Z) said that he was the first person Tadashi told NOT to change his Intakes back to stock... Just wanted to throw this on here for all you guys that think my numbers at Injen were "messed" with...

Injen nailed the HR motors IMO... You'll see in the third-party dynos that members will perform Happy modding!

wow, very impressive. another thing to add to the list and you can't beat a good honest gain from bottom to top.

Is the $550 price a set deal? How do I get in on this mod? Do we just call them, or is this a special price for the mod.

SOUNDS GREAT. Thanks for getting all this done. Great post.

With more air mods... that's expected...

But nothing serious to concern about. Gain across the rest of the band is what amazed me with ONLY CAIs and reflash...

I'd go with Amplified Motorsport, but it'd still take a few weeks for the preorders to fill up...

Contact Lou at Amplified Motorsport by calling (323)881-0882 and tell him "Tank" referred you to him.

I believe he still has about 3~4 for the group buy price.

Just a foot note, that dyno was taken at sea level (owner lives in So Cal)

Those at higher elevations would see considerably less gain with a CAI and reflash.

is there anyway this reflash could be done for people who aren't in the US? like shipping out your ecu so they reflash it and then re-installing it when it comes back?

this might be a stupid question but I wouldn't mind getting around 300 whp with the Injen intakes and maybe more with an exhaust system but I live across the world
