everything else is good, no SES light? Well if you get a bluetooth OBDII adapter, and you have android you can run torque app to monitor the exact temp there, even use a digital gauge.
Otherwise you'll have to probably replace the instrument cluster to fix it if everything else is working, and with a diagnostic tool can still read the correct temp.
Now if you plug in a diag tool and the temp doesn't change at all, then you have a different problem, maybe thermostat or connection to it?
