Windows won't go down automatically?
I had this issue and the dealer told me how to "reset" it.
From the drivers seat window control, roll down the two front windows then roll them back up completely but hold the button up... keep holding the button up and count to 10. Then roll down and try and auto roll up and they should work. You need to do this in pair (front pair and/or back pair), depending on which ones don't work. Work for me... Apparently a common problem, but they don't know what does it. |
If the anti-pinch safety kicks in or if you disconnect the battery, the auto windows need to be reset.
The reset info is in your manual. |
Your dealer is one I would not go to to purchase or lease another car. To reset from the drivers control position determine which window you want to reset. Push the button down and hold for 5 seconds after the window hits the bottom. Do the same on the up position and hold for 5 seconds when it is fully closed and the window will be reset. Do the same on all windows from the driver control position. This is required if you disconnect the battery or lose power

Yea, My auto-up feature would'nt work. Had to reset it 5x, and the dealer has already replaced the motor 2x, the switch, and 3 weeks ago they replaced the regulator too!
