HOEN 9006 - burnout

Anyone else have a problem with HOEN 9006 early burnout?

Mine lasted less than a month.
(&yes, I was careful not to get my fingers on them)

At first I thought it may be due to the CDN spec, running fogs as DTRL on a reduced voltage.
But I don't think that's the case, or they would have been dim as DTRL, then bright as fogs.

...most of all I'm PO'd that I have to put the yellow OE 9006 back in. :(

I had my Hoens in for around 4 months before my accident and they worked perfectly.
And I have a friend who's had them in his Lexus IS for almost a year now with no problems.

Not sure why yours burned out so quickly :dunno:

Get better bulbs this time around. Not sure what's good since I'm looking for good 6k fogs myself so I can't recommend anything :o

I have the Hoens (they look really close to stock). I've had mine for 7 months now and no problems. Did you accidentally touch the bulb maybe? (BTW I have my fogs on always when my lights come on).
