Blue Slate Color Matched Grill?

Has anyone colored matched the grill with this color. My idea of it is leave the outer bar on the top and bottom chrome but color match the insides and keep the chrome emblem... Ever been done?

Here is a photoshop.

FYI: This isn't my car I got it out of the Blue Slate thread.

What do you guys think?

Thanks!

I can see it.

It looks nice to me. If you can pull it off, I say go for it. You should do the headlights also.

None of these are my car got them out of the Blue Slate Thread once again.

Just did it to get perspective of how it would look since this paint changes so much. Let me know what you guys think.

i think BS grill would look nice if you also painted the thin vertical bars on both sides as well and just left the top and bottom horizontal bars chrome, this would help the grill flow better with the rest of the car IMO.
