LED License Plate Bulbs Don't Turn On
Swapped my license plate light bulbs out for some white 5k LED bulbs from v-led. Turned on my lights and the led bulbs won't turn on. All other lights come on just fine.
Based on my research, I needed the 194 bulb. Didn't have time to switch back to my OEM bulbs to see if those still work (I.e. blown fuse) but I will tomorrow. These should be plug and play, right? Bought these... http://www.v-leds.com/5K-WHITE-HIGH-POWER-LICENSE-p7114849-1-2.html |
You probably put them in backwards. They do only go in one way. Hopefully there is no damage done to them, remove and rotate that should work. I have those same bulbs in my car, no issues. just leave your lights on and try one way if no light flip and try again. Since u left them in and probably drove with your lights on depending on how long they may have burned up. hopefully not. G/L let us know if it works.

You guys hit it on the money. Switched em around this morning and they work now. Didn't know they have to be put in a certain way. Thanks!
