replacing door window rubber trim?

Has anybody ever replaced the rubber lining of the door windows? Not the windshield but the doors. I'm talking about the rubber lining that is right next to the actual slot that the window sits in, so not the piece that touches the window but the rubber right next to it. I believe I got plastic polish on it and a half inch section just like came right off, trying to find out if anyone has ever replaced it or taken it somewhere to be replaced

ah ok.. anybody got anything else? i doubt a car body shop would be able to help cus i feel like it'd be too vehicle specific which is why i think it'd have to be the dealership but i dont even wanna think of the price it'd be.

I am having trouble understanding what rubber you want to replace? Are you talking about the rubber in the door jam right under the pillar where the window goes up into?

i know it is confusing trying to explain exactly what rubber i'm referring to i'll try to reword it.

Its on the outside of the car and just on the bottom the window. I'm not referring to the actual rubber that is touching the window but the rubber line right outside of that so in between the rubber that contains the window and the actual car door is this rubber lining that im talking about. It's just a thin piece of rubber that underlines the window.

hope this helps some i know its still confusing
