2007 G35S Sedan Headlight Issue
I just bought my 2007 Infiniti G35S sedan about a month ago and I’ve noticed that the passenger side headlight will blink twice then shut off occasionally. Turning the lights off then back on fixed the issue but it sometimes takes a few times. I took it to a shop and they replaced the ballast but it still persists. The local Infiniti dealership said that replacing the headlights due to broken mounts is the only other option. Now I’ve noticed the drivers side is doing it but much less frequent.
Also the interior and dash lights will get brighter and go back down randomly while idleing, even though I just put a new alternator on.
Has anybody had this happen? Any tips or advice?

First of all, check corroded battery terminals, then hunt for corroded grounds under dash (and maybe even underhood), since you have more than one fault, but not entire car.
Nissan always has an unpainted bar under dash from side to side under dash. It will be a bit rusty. Mount a grounding strap from body to the bar.

Meet the same issue with you. I just upgrade my hid to one custom led bulbs for several months and it works prefectly. Since i went to the dealship but was told I need to buy a hid bulbs, 85USD/pc, to make the bulbs look the same light output, I need 2 bulbs, nearly 200 USD.
so I went to the aftermarket hid bulbs, very poor quality, it worked 1 day and went out.
Occasionally, my bro told me to go to the custom LED D2 led bulbs. I went to their website and found the bulbs, this is a custom led bulbs, no need to use the ballast, just plug and play. The light is alomost better than my OEM hid. I LIKE IT SO FAR.
Hope this can help you.

Fair enough, but there's a difference between "willing to" and "wanting to". I'm perfectly fine paying the higher cost for the luxury car maintenance, but if I can find a lower cost alternative, that's perfectly suited, I'll take it. I would definitely want to see some pictures to see how the beams cast the light. I learned the hard way (albeit for a pretty low price) about LED's not casting light the same as "standard" filament.

I have a serious axe to grind with aftermarket LED lights blinding oncoming traffic. I seriously hope my state passes some legislation to make it a ticketable offense because I absolutely HATE getting blinded.
There are a lot of budget minded options for the G35 though, the only "expensive" part of the whole system is the backhousing/lens assembly. You can get budget friendly ballasts and lamps easily. Ballasts for $50 apiece, lamps for $25 apiece. They have excellent lifespan too. 8-10 years usually.

Yeah and I have blue eyes which are more sensitive to light so it's super shitty. I had 80% front tint put on the front of the G35 which helped a TON (18% on the rest of the windows). The rest of my vehicles sit a lot higher so I'm not down into other folks' headlight beam so bad.
Yes those tint levels are illegal in my state, did it anyways, makes a huge difference.
