As long as Stephen (R1) clearly communicates with customers, follows up with them in a timely fashion and doesn't over promise he will be OK. Given that everyone basically gets their kits from the same place, if they don't stock anything, then lead times on parts would be similar. Stephen has exhibited great customer service so far. I've interacted with him quite a bit on here and off the forum, he really wants to be able to help people out here on the forum.

Pretty easy to take you the wrong way when you say not much will be different right? Any one would find that offensive/negative the way things have panned out here

Wow I haven't revisited this thread in a while.. What a shame to see that another one bites the dust. Sucks that the story about hasn't even been told to the members other than he is banned for now. To be honest I was always skeptical about having a vendor who messed up so bad in the past and got kicked off the community, magically ammend the situation and come back after "working things out with IB?"

Sad because each of these hiccups makes potential car enthusiasts think twice about taking the plunge. I remember when I got my first coupe body parts in 2007, it seemed like such a reliable aftermarket... oh well

I wonder who will be the first to add to their sigunature "Never been Autobaussed" LOL

Yea.

By saying that, I was saying that no matter who the vendor is, they're getting it from the same place.

But you said that in response to me saying people are better off going with R1...which intentional or not implied he's not a better option
