Nissan Owner's Festival 11/29
So, like I was the only G there... Ivory_G and Surewin stopped by to say hi. There were 88 registered cars... a nice '71 Skyline. But not much brotherly love from the Nissan owners to the Infinity.
I had 5 different sets of Nissans park around leave....nobody wanted to be next to me. the staff was fun and stopped by. they wanted to know if more infiniti/G35 owners would come out in the future. Said that they'd have to add "Infiniti" to the drop down" on the ticket sales :) We all love a good "meet", but this one definitely made me feel like an outsider. Lots of spectators stopped in to check my sedan out (drool)....let some kids play with PS2 and showed off the Uniden BCT7 which got some appreciative nods.... Other than that - 3 free tshirts, a drifting DVD, a keychain and plastic Skyline license plate frame. Since only the participants voted for the cars in three categories (Best overall, Best Interior, best Exterior) I didn't expect to win...which is no big, I had fun watching the Drifting Event. I'll post some pictures when I get back to the office on Monday. Cheers, Ted '03 Sedan 5a: BS/G, Prem, Aero/Body, Sport, Nav Click for MODS or Vote at Online Showoff |

Good seeing you SoCalTed, one G representing is better than none, you had my vote.
Overall, it was a nice day to be outside.
Edited by IVORY_G on 11/30/03 09:26 AM.
|
