Painted my 19's with black temporary paint
 

I've been trying to decide if I should paint my current wheels (19" HPD) black but wasn't sure if I'd like it.

Today while I was shopping I found some black temporary paint made by Duplicolor that just washes off with soap and water so I thought "why not try it"

Here are a few pics of my wheels before and after the paint. It took me about ten minutes to paint the two wheels and then I just wiped off the lips and rivets with a rag.

wow, you've got some guts to try that stuff on your wheels.

i like the new color. but get them powdercoated/painted correctly.

No, not Volks ....just a cheap set of HPD MSR's.

I fully intend to get them powdered...I just wanted to try it for a few days and make sure I liked the way they look before I went ahead and spent the money.

i'd say leave it the way it was. looks nice in hyper silver.

i bow down to u, no matter what set of rims... U OFFICIALLY HAVE THE BIGGEST COJONES (BALLS) EVER! i would never try that id be too scared they would get stuck that color, but i prefer how u painted them rahter then the way they are.

I've been looking at it for the last couple of hours and I'm leaning towards getting them painted gloss black. I think it contrasts nicely with the silver car.

gloss black wont look like that tho. u know that right? itll look darker than that alot darker. if u get it that color itll look nice.. it matches ur valence, tail overlays and if u get headlights and clear corner overlays, plus like u said it contrasts ur car color. :JAMIN:

Yeah don't go gloss black thats more matte black in the photos. I like the matte black look with your car color and overlays.

I think matte black would look HOT. Gloss black on the other hand wouldn't look good and it would seem that you were going for that black/black look.

i like the matte as well

I think I like them better in the before pictures.
