What wheel spacers for OEM 18's?
 

Hello, I want to buy some wheel spacers for my OEM 18's to make them more flush. I am thinking 15mm front 20mm back or 20mm front 25mm back. I would like to hear from those who have done this with their OEM 18's. I have 245s in back and 225 in front.

Also, I hear Project Kics is very good, I found some on Mynismo.com, but I am curious what "thread pitch" is, and if I need 12x1.5mm or 12x1.25mm.

From my understanding, with these wheel spacers I do not need to swap out studs correct? So all I would need to purchase are the front and rear project kics and I should be good to go?

Last question, what are Hub Centric Rings and do they come with these spacers? I cant seem to find an explanation..

25mm all around will work, but you should really save your money for wider wheels and tires if you plan on going TT. 245's will be woefully lacking in the traction dept.

i went 20 fronts 25 rears project kics..rolled the rear fender just to be safe but no rubbing whatsoever so far...

i have 19's btw..my buddy with 18's went 15 all around before he picked up sp1's. i'm sure u can go more aggressive..either 15/20 or 20/25

hubcentric rings are used to make sure that your wheel is mounted in the middle as opposed to off to the side. it helps with the vibrations on the steering wheel (although i'm not running hub centric rings and i'm not experiencing any vibrations) it's more of a precaution..also note that they don't contribute to the integrity of the spacers either. having them won't make having spacers "more safe." with that said..yeah go with kics..the built in studs are great!
