Infiniti's offering on winter tires/rims

1 Attachment(s)
I spoke to my dealer last week and Infiniti has made a bulk purchase of winter tires and rims that they're offering as a package (at least in Canada, not sure about the US). The tires they're offering for the coupe are Blizzak LM-22's, which is great. The rims - no idea, and that's my question. The dealer didn't know what rims were being offered and could only send me a picture; he said he'd look into it for me. Does anyone know what brand/model they've got on offer? I've attached the picture here in case anyone recognizes it.

What kind of price did they quote?

$1571 installed for the LM-22's. I looked on Active Green+Ross' site and the tires themselves would come to over $1200, so you're basically paying about $90 per rim. No idea if it's a good deal, since I don't know these rims.

They also offer Toyo Garits for about $1450 installed, on the same rims.

Got the answer. The wheels are SSW , model S039.

Anyone know this brand/model? Is it any good?

IMHO, there are better deals in the Canadian classfieds. There's a guy selling a set of oem 18s w/ winter tires for $1,000

Thanks, Jeff. Part of my issue is storage. I can't fit all 4 wheels/tires in my car to take them to storage, and don't want to pay a storage company $300 per year to pick them up from the shop for me. I could just get a friend to come with me, but I'd rather not deal with the hassle since it's not just a one-time thing but will happen twice a year. So if I buy this set, the dealer will store my summers, which saves me $300 a year.

Hmm not too bad if the dealer is willing to store your wheels I guess

why can't you fit 4 wheels in your coupe, I can...

Really? I must admit, I hadn't actually tried, just assumed given how little I can put in my damn trunk...Thanks, redlude, the opens up a whole lot of options.

redlude97 Sep 28, 2007 05:03 PM

put 1 in the trunk, and fold down the seat and you can stack 3 in the rear

Jeff92se Sep 28, 2007 05:07 PM

Or just take two trips.

kamalster Sep 28, 2007 05:08 PM

I'm a big fan of avoiding hassles...or just lazy, maybe...

Back to the question on wheels, though - anyone familiar with the SSW brand? Opinions?
