215? For What A Honda?

RCMCFE Nov 5, 2007 03:34 PM

No....an 03G35 with stock rims.

Konsole Nov 5, 2007 03:41 PM

you can put 235/50/17 on those stock rims if you want. Just go to tire rack, look at your stock tires compared to some others, find the correct rim width range and diameters, etc.

Well, 95% of my driving is Highway...Will 225's or 235's reduce ride quality?

Crashtest77 Nov 5, 2007 04:38 PM

I don't mean to keep advertising for tire rack, but anyway...

Give tirerack a call, the reps are very knowledgeable about the products. Just ask what sizes/brands/tires would be best for your requirements.

i think the tire type and tread will determine noise/wear/etc more than width.

My big reason for wider is just the look. If you dont care about that then stick with the 215 because they will probably be cheaper anyway.

y would you get 215's? i say go for 235 at least. and what kind of kumhos are you looking at?

eh, about 80% of mine is. I get right on the highway from my house, get on another to go to work. No way I'd ever drive a POS camry tho. AR has some great curvy highways (Pig Trail and old 71 here are AMAZINGLY fun) you can drive on and have a good time.
