Flat tire question?

Kind of a strange situation I've had. Just bought a used 05' on Dec. 21st. I took it to an infinity dealer on the 26th to have something checked out. When I left that dealer I had a low tire pressure indicator light on and one of the front tires was low, enough so that you could tell by visual inspection. They took it back in and checked it out put air in it and I was on my way. Then yesterday I had a low tire pressure light come back on. Nothing looked low, so after work I checked the pressure and now one of the rear tires was low, around 21lbs. That night I filled it up and checked all the rest. Everything seemed fine. Now I get up this morning and the same rear tire I filled last night was pretty much flat. Could the tire just not be holding air right? Or does it seem like a nail or something is causing a leak. I didn't waste any time on it this morning as I wanted to get to work, so I just got a ride with my gf. but I'm going to go home at lunch and check it out. Why doesn't Infinity include a full size spare? seems dumb. I don't really want to shell out for a new tire after just purchasing the car 2 weeks ago or so.

check between the treads for a nail or screw. as long as the hole isn't in the sidewall or close to it any tire shop can patch it for less than $40

I didn't even realize I was spelling it wrong noted for future reference.

Tire problem turned out to just be a bad valve stem core.
